If a company is asking for salary requirements in the application you don't need to do a whole page, you can just include the information in your cover letter. for example:

(at the end of the letter)

Thank you for taking the time and effort to review my application. I am seeking a salary in the range of $amount. I believe I will be an asset to your company and I am looking forward to meetiing with you at your earliest convenience to discuss this further. Please contact me ....
