Maybe tsunami, or a great earthquake that will happen at the same time,period, and date around the world. One more thing maybe another great flood, anyone can brake promises.

You remember the people who went to Jerusalem or something on 2000 awaiting Jesus or something?
Yah. Look what happened.
And if the Roman and Grecian Gods were around, you'd think more weird crap would be going on. Zeus probably would've made a country the population size of, oh, Europe.
If it happens, it happens. What are you going to do about it? Stop it from happening? If it's been in the works this long, you won't be able.
So! Live life. Enjoy it, be nice to people, remember that it is not indefinite and thus should be cherished.
Besides, I've made my prediction about 3 months later.

No one knows what will happen for the simple reason no one can see the future. Even if they say they can, they can't. And even if it were possible I highly doubt it would have down to the minute resolution.
Don't live your life in fear. You could get hit by a car tomorrow. So live for today and don't worry about 5 years from now.

Its the end of the mayan calander which predicts the end of days.
I actully read a very interesting fictional book on it.
not sure how accurate it was but its called "Domain" by Steve Alten.

Isn't that when the aztecs stopped writing the calendar? So it's supposed to be the end of the world.
