Let's see..."Thriller" was released in '82. "Bad" in '87. Michael was smokin hot in that time. He toured somewhat with his brothers in that time, but he was the draw. His brothers had families and their own priorities by then.
The video from "Thriller" was released in Dec. 83, and that was considered the most successful video of the time.

Well Michael Jackson was at his peak both professionally and popularity wise as Thriller was out. The Jacksons were just leaching on to little brother so they could capitalize on his success...nobody gave a rats patootie about the Jackson's then. If someone went to the Jacksons' concert, it was to see Michael.

The Jackson's were long on their way out. They were more popular in the early 70s. Michael however was very close to the peak of his career.

Janet was popular, the brother had a record (I know you like me I think that was the title) I think they all had a hit around the eighties but only Janet and Michael stood out. I think Reba had that song Centipede. Janet started kickin butt with "Janet-Miss Jackson if you're nasty. What iss the name of that album????

Don't remember even a glimmer of them in the 80's; perhaps I wasn't looking. "The Five" were bigger in the 70's. Try there. OK, OK...I think "Thriller," was early 80's???? Guess you can see how much I cared then. Sorry -would be pretty easy to look up on the net.

They were of average height, just as they are now, except that Michael's nose is now interchangeable. I understand he has several snap-ons, making him able to disappear into a crowd and look like a pig or a wildabeast.

Mike was about 4 feet tall but his brothers were taller. Seriously, they were popular but the child molester became a bigger hit when he went on his own.
