Vague question, so here's a vague answer: stand up for yourself, because everybody has basic rights, such as dignity.

Define controlling. I am what other people consider a controlling wife. My husband, most of the time, does not care. I get what I want most of the time, pay all of the bills, buy groceries, etc. I buy what I want for the house, when I want it. As long as his stomach is full, cable is on and comfortable, he is happy. What are you trying to control that she is not letting? Compromise and communication is the answer.

A husband is a man and it's shameful if his wife is controlling him. He should not have to obey her if she's going to be that way. This goes for individual rights, by the way.

Why does she feel the need to be so controlling? Why not show her affection that might soften her up? Make dinner for her, be romantic towards her. Hope that might help.

There can purely be one head of kin. although, the guy shouldn't abuse his capability, and he can and would pay attention to his spouse's evaluations, recommendations, needs, and needs before he makes any determination. i exploit this word in our residing house jokingly, although this is actual at situations. a stable marriage is while the two events communicate and a mutual determination could be made. all of us understand that 2 human beings won't agree on each and every thing each and every of the time, so somebody has to make an rather final determination. in spite of the certainty that i think the husband is the pinnacle, the spouse could be allowed to make judgements while she knows suited. There are aspects in life the place the spouse knows greater desirable than the guy.

First of all you need to define your definition of "controling". If this is about you not being able to go out with the guys when ever you feel like it then she is right, you should be with her not them because they are not having your babies and SHE is. If you mean controlling like telling you what to eat and wear, then I don't know. Look at yourself first because pointing fingers at everyone else sometimes will make you miss the real problem. Often we have to change ourselves before things around us change too.

You did not give enough details. How controlling is she? We do not know, but if you allow her to be controlling she will have a field day with you.

How about this..Tell her since she is so controlling, she can take over all the bills, and the mortgage..watch her reaction!

Do not socumb to her demands, or control.

When she is control of things .. don't participate with her plan ... sweetly tell her that is not the way you wanted it.

Balk a lot.

When she throws a fit .. tell her why. Tell her she is controlling - and you don't like it ... and don't intend to participate in it.

Be sweet, gentle, .. but assertive & firm. In oher words, mean it.
