I just learned on Yahoo! Sports that this team has won against the New York Giants 38-35, and are the first team to go 16-0 in a regular season since the 1972 Miami Dolphins, who only went 14-0.

What are your thoughts on this? Are you proud of this, or do you think they're just overrated? Do you think they will go to the Super Bowl and win it?

To Stats C, of course, I meant a regular season. I guess you and some others overlooked the mentioning of 16-0 in a REGULAR season. This is a feat that took years to accomplish, so there's no need to be so haughty taughty.

Let me start off by saying I am a Patriots fan, I always have been. I am very proud of the Patriots as an organization and a team. What they have accomplished this year is remarkable. I am not going to say if they will make it to the Super Bowl this year, I can't see into the future. I am just thinking about the next game they play. You can't look past the teams they still have to play. Yes, 16-0 is great! You can't do any better in the regular season. But it's the post-season now. All the best teams in the NFL, this will be a real test. If they come out on top, they can truely say that they are the best team. They may can even say, they are the best team ever.

I was never a big fan of the Patriots, They were just a team that I never followed. But, since the accusations of Spy gate and the arrogance of the team, I'm really not a fan now. I was pulling for the Giants last night, but, the key mistake that they made, was that they got the lead going into the 4th quarter and they played conservative. You can't do that against the Patriots, they will get you everytime and rub it in your face.

Good for them for the regular season record, but, they are beatable, and either they will lose somewhere in the playoffs, I think to either Baltimore or Jacksonville, or the Cowboys will get them in the Superbowl.

Anyone who says they're over-rated just doesn't know football. The Pats have beaten the Colts and Cowboys away, the Steelers after a monday night game, the chargers and browns and Giants. That's 6 playoff teams. The Giants played their hearts out to spoil the Pats perfect season, but the Pats rost to the occasion. They are the greatest football team of all time, led by the greatest quarterback of all time. And, they'll win the superbowl.

I think they should be 13-3, with losses to Baltimore, New York Giants, and Philly. Obviously a paid call or two, you can't argue that.

It sickens me that people worship this team like they're a bunch of gods. Well, they're not. The team isn't perfect, the season isn't perfect, because they paid to win. Call me a crybaby, but if this were another team in a different country, you'd even say that they rigged something.

i think they're overrated because they barely won against the giants (I know this because I watched the game) and almost lost to the eagles
the patriots will probably reach the super bowl but their players are not rested properly

they had a great regular season, but they still dont have a perfect season until they win the super bowl. i think they are one of the best teams of all time, but still not the best team ever.

ahem... its an undefeated REGULAR season... they need three more wins for a perfect season

they earned their wins, but the Chargers appear to be getting better every week... that would be a formidable opponent

Great they have done what no other team has done in the regular season. It's kinda hard to say they aren't the best team in the NFL ever but....

The lose to either the Colts/Jags in playoffs...
