Zion is much, much bigger, and there is a lot more to do there. BUT the good thing is, Bryce is only like 1 1/2 hours from Zions. Also, in between the two, is a national monument, called Kolob canyon, which is worth checking out. If you are looking for other Utah parks, Arches National Park in Moab is hard to beat.

Don't miss either. Bryce is spectacular with all the various formations, spires, etc while Zion is an eco system by itself. There are others which you might want to inquire before your trip.
