How many of you have ditched your desktop for your perfect laptop??
I just purchased a HP Pavilion 14.1 inch screen laptop...and I'm in LOVE. I sold my desktop and 19 in. monitor...and I keep asking myself, "why did i wait so long?" These days, the laptops seem just as powerful as the desktop. And, they are so portable and convenient. The other I watched the new DVD called HALLOWEEN, all the while surfing the internet and working on a word document at the same time. It was too much. Oh, yeah...and I was on my LAZ-Y-BOY recliner, too. I was in total heaven.
Have any of you left the desktop behind for your laptop pleasures? I'm interested to know your stories....

yeah...i am on it now i am sitting on my leather couch watcin tv about to fall asleep with a foot rest and a pillow and nice cold drink by me...so much better than sitting at a desk...laptops are the best invention ever

I cant say i have the 'exact' same event as you went though but I think the computer holds everything, i mean like you can find anything on the internet you know? I just feel either at peace or at wonderment when i have my laptop and sitting on a comfortable chair with the TV on.

I am because I am a chef at a restaurant and after being up and around all day some times I just want to lay down and surf the web

Yes, I have. I have had mine for about a year now. And I am kinda missing my desktop. I like the desktop mouse and keyboard. But I have to admit laptops are pretty nice.

well i just got a laptop 4 christmas and im in love too. but i have a question are laptops supposed to be slow cuz mine is a little. my laptop is not the simply cheap ones too it has a cd space and everything

I have both,I use the laptop about 90% of the time,it's just more convenient

I'm with you. I will NEVER do the desktop again. Aside from what you mentioned, don't forget that they take less resources to build and are more energy efficient.

I got rid of my hp pavilion for my dell notebook. It's faster cooler and mobile.
