I would not recommend cramming, it seems like it leads to forgetting what you have learned. Here is a good study method to use.

Another important thing I have read in psych books is to segment study sessions into 20 to 30 minutes taking 5 to 15 minute breaks in between. The break times help the brain to process the new knowledge you have just learned. Here is another good learn how to study link.

Dear Sister Shruti, though i would not like to encourage you to cram your subjects, nevertheless i can suggest you a method in case you have no other option left but to cram. What you can do is, FIRST LOGICALLY RECLASSIFY THE SUBJECT YOU WANT TO STUDY. Remember every subject of yours will have an outline by looking at which you can easily understand the aim of each and every chapter of the particular subject. Once you know the aim, once again make logical classifications of the already classified part you did before. This way you will know what you are studying and why you are studying. Now study, and you feel that your method is more objective and it will give you the pleasure and fun of learning. But from next academic onwards do ensure that you are in touch with your subjects right from day one, then what i suggested to you will work more effectively for you. All The Best For Your Exams.

Usually cramming is not a good idea but you cannot do without it for subjects like history, geography and civics.

Please look up the internet on how to create and use flash cards and mnemonics. They are the best way.

i just don't want to give u dadiji's type of advices. for ur question there can b 2 solutions - 1. always try to note down imp. points on a separate page or atleast underline them while reading so that u can hav ur own self written & imp. notes which u can look at last minutes before exam.

2.for second part of ur ques. - try to engage other in helping u to cram things. Like ask others (i.e. ur sis or bro. or ur mom dad) to remind certain imp.events, dates etc.to u at a particular time. If they failed to remind u , u remind them . IN THIS WAY U CAN BOOST UR CONFIDENCE & HELP UR MIND TO REMEMBER THINGS
