An incident occured at work, it was reported to the exec. but nothing happened to my boss. I addressed him on the situation, after he got a "lecture"he poked me in the chest, between my breasts and stated it was none of my f-ing buisness and to stay out of it or he would have me terminated. I believe he thinks I was the original person who ratted him out, and now he is repremending me and humiliating me in emails that go to other people. I am not the only one who has been threatened, but I don't know who else has been. Do I have a case here?

There were no witnesses to my incident, but I do have the email where he is humiliating me. The original incident that he got in trouble for, there were many witnesses, the exec. knows about it, the report was falsified, no one who was threatened will come forward.

I would report it again and tell them if nothing further is done that you will go to the department of labor. If nothing is done, go to them. They have deep pockets, can provide lawyers for you, and can be a lot of help. I've seen it in action.

You most cetainly do. First find out who else is being harassed. Second get as much WRITTEN documentation - from an objective point of view - of the incidents in question..

If he touches you, and there is a witness, you have him in a very hard place.

Get dates, times and names of any witness you can find for any incident. Make notarized copies of everything and submit it with a cover letter to the highest level of management you can. In that letter you might state that you have originals in the hands of an attorney. What are THEY going to do about it.

You might all chip in to get an attorney in the right field for this suit. You may threaten a suit but be prepared to go ahead. Never, under any circumstances, make a threat you are not prepared to carry outl

DO Not talk to this offending person about any of what you are preparing to do. Don't let your enemy know your battle plans.

Make copies of everything improper when possible, write everything down including dates, times and persons involved.
Go to the top person in the company with all the details with COPIES of all the above mentioned and calmly explain what is going on. If things don't improve, see an attorney. Then you will have their attention!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

Not so much for the threat and that too is Valid BUT he touched you !!!

I am serious !!

Assault begins at the end of his fingertip and the instant it touched your person and WHERE he touched you ... OUTRAGEOUS!!!!

You have a WHOPPER of a case you could Retire early by suing they'll never go to court and Settle with you BIG time ... remember me when you cash-In !!

BUT you must ACT fast!!!!

The longer you wait the less your chances!!!!!

Get and compile a paper-trail of E-mails etc. showing where you FORMALLY lodged your complaint to higher ups in the company!

I'd take your case in a New York minute!

Oh my god! You need to get out of that environment. I don't care what it takes. It's not worth it. Bosses think that they can just get away with murder. Prove him wrong! I wouldn't take another day of it. If I had to sell pencils from a cup in order to leave that mess, I would do it in a heartbeat.

You're much better than that! Good luck.

It varies from state to state but you need to let him know that what hes doing is harressment and to stop or youll have no choice but to elivate this matter to higher ups or take action with a labor relations board for review

yes I was in legal and you have a case, hopefully you have been documenting EVERYTHING, witnesses to this as well (if there are any). please go to your human resources person, if that fails - go in the phone book and call your local EEO office and file a suit.
