If you go on youtube and search for wrestling bloopers, you see that he is trying to rip the door off the latch, and he was supposed to. Batista was supposed to get attacked right away, but he had to wait for Mark Henry to get into the cage.

The chain or the door was suppose to break away, what we got is a comedy classic
It was edited out so people would not make fun of it. But if you look around, you can find it
