I break out with just about anything. I use aveno skin products, and Bare Minerals make up. Always get complements, and my skin is good even without the make up now.

My favorite foundation right now is Almay's Smart Shade. It comes in light, light/medium, medium, and dark. It goes on white, then blends to the color of your skin. I looove it. And it's only like ten bucks at any Target, Walmart, or drug store.
For best coverage finish with a powder (L'Oreal True Match is a good one), but the Almay foundation has pretty good coverage.
I have also heard that Avon Perfect Wear is extremely long lasting and has great coverage, plus it's not too expenisve either.

Yves Saint Laurent.
My skin tends to be dry too. What I do is place a little of the foundation on my palm, and add to it a little of my moisturiser. I mix them on my palm and then apply the mixture on my skin. It gives me a more natural look; lighter foundation that does the disguise pretty well.
Hope this helps!

my favorite foundation is actually a pressed foundation/powder. It is called 'superpowder double face makeup' by Clinique. also, before applying it, i use a concealer than matches my skin tone on imperfections and blemishes. Hope this helps! :)

I really like the Tru Blend line from Cover Girl. They make it in a pump bottle (like a liquid), and also in like a "whipped" form that spreads easier and is a bit lighter. Everyone I have told this about really likes it as well.

Maybe a tinted moisturizer would work better for you. This can be found with the lotions.
