this is in the incubator section of the museum of science and industry in chicago illinois there is a section where they have hatching chicken eggs i was just wondering what happeed to the chickens later

they end up sold to chicken farmers. Then the farmers sell them when fully grown back to the museum. And when you visit the museum cafeteria, you eat them if you order the chicken sandwiches. Great with the mustard sauce. Yummy.

I am not familiar with either place but I do know that when my sister took her son to the museum of science up in Boston, he LOVED IT!!! Go for it! I bet he will have a blast while being educated at the same time.

i know what ur talking about and have been wondering that my self not really sure what happens guess they go back to the farm that they had come from but I'm not really sure though. i hope that helps u out at all

The eggs come from a chicken farm shortly before hatching, and then go back after hatching. They aren't necessarily the ones you eat at the museum. There's a sign at the exhibit explaining this, as I recall.
