Perhaps Radio Shack has a back room full of discontinued items that you could browse through. The portable cable TV set was one devise that didn't seem to stay on the market too long, too many complaints. It seemed the satellite hook up was often distorted and didn't have good enough reception over 50 feet away from the base station.

I'm pretty certain that you could purchase one at factory price. When you're there, would you look around for a boom box for me?
