Mariah Carey & Celine Dion both have their people claiming they are the number selling female artist in history. I know it's between the two of them. They are in the small list of female artist's who have sold over 100 million records. But who is the definitive winner?

I looked it up rosseffect
It's Mariah. Ms Carey has sold over 140million and Celine has almost 130million. You are right they are the top two. They are followed by Madonna and believe it or not Whitney Houston. Before she went crazy she sold like 115million. They're own record companies make a play on words claiming that they each are the best selling.
footnote: Mariah has the most #1 singles by a female..15!

I bet it is mariah carey.She is way more popular and I think she has come out with more CD's than Celine. I also think she has had more #1 hits. But I dont know for certain its just my guess.

They both suck most of the time. I'd say Britney or Madonna are better, despite record sales.
