Well you can't really say who is the best. It's all personal opinion, and doesn't really account for anything. There are a lot of good teams. In the West I would say Spurs and Suns, and East would be Boston and Detroit. People can hate on the Celtics all they want. This team basically started over from scratch. They made have acquired some good players, but you need time to build chemistry. They have been playing some really great basketball, and I think in the next few years everyone will be truly hating on greatness just like with the Patriots this year. Once the big 3 all start having great games at the same time, there will be no stopping them. Ray Allen is an amazing shooter, KG is a defensive machine, and Pierce is an all around amazing player. Give it time.

East: Boston Celtics. They've had such an easy schedule, though, they haven't really proved anything. Good scorers, great defense. Keeps OFG% low.
West: Phoenix Suns. Everyone has bad nights. Lost to some of the worst teams on poor FG%. Allow high opponent points, but their high-octane offense makes up for it. Averages league-high PPG. Or the Spurs. As much as I dislike them, they play good and hard.
Both: Phoenix Suns. They come to play. If they're having a good night, they can beat any team. Boston needs to prove themselves to me still.

West - Spurs
East - Pistons
NBA - Pistons
It's funny how all of these Boston fans forgot how the Pistons beat them in their place.
