Never. I have defended every CoCV I have ever received, except one that wasn't worth arguing. That was an answer to a good friend, that I thought they would find funny, but a troll reported it as "adult".
Other than that, my answers are either profoundly serious, factual, cheeky or just downright funny.
I have had several answers deleted that disagreed with the asker's opinion. I always promptly respond to customer care that my answer simply mirrored the asker, with a difference of opinion and that if my answer was considered in violation, then the question should be as well. I have subsequently had the question removed as well that way, and received a bit of vindication.
Subsequently, I am level 6 and can pretty much answer as much as I like. It also doesn't hurt to occasionally report a question you may see just asked that is in serious violation of the CoC. This puts you in a position of respect with customer care.
Trolls really suck. I really hate them. Subsequently, i do not let anyone I don't know on my list anymore, unless they email me first.
Thumbs downer's really suck too. I while back I had someone following me around, thumbs downing every answer I made. Many of which went on to be best answers. It's sad, but some people have nothing better to do.
