instead of saying lol why dont you say lqtm (laughing quietly to myself)
its much more realistic than laughing out loud. i dont think anyone laughs loudly at their computers over stuff they see online.

this is brilliant. i will fully and completely support this movement, as lol is over used and is becoming annoying after repeated uses. LQTM really brings out what you are actually doing at your computer, not a gross exaggeration like lol.
ill help spread the message and i do hope this replaces "lol"
i like poison apple's slogan "LQTM 4 LIFE"
that should be the movements slogan.

i kinda LOLed a lil bit when i read this!
i NEVER say LOL because i RARELY LOL...
its gonna take some getting used to for my fingers to type, but i'll give it a try!

i only use LOL when i actually do laugh out loud...duh!
otherwise, i say "haha"
but lqtm is ok..i guess

That doesn't bother me as much as what people LOL about.
1. "I'm from Akron LOL." What the heck is that? Or maybe, "It's raining here today ROFL." Oh yeah, that's really hilarious. At least say something a little funny before you start rolling all over the floor, holding your ribs in an unending humor filled uproar.
