Hmmm.......That is a very good question.
Probably because so many of us are hiding
behind our own shadows.
Beautiful song
Touching words
Fabulous music
Swayed by the movement
of the sea waves
Lifted high by the clouds
What a superb way to travel
What a splendid way to get lost.
Thank you.

Your question was asked in the late 60s and 70s as well by the "Flower Children". It is a question still unanswered by most, and solved by some. There is much love to be shared here and now if we let it happen. I wish you luck in finding others with the same view point as your own just as I have. Remember love isn't finite, it grows exponentially if we express love to others we receive back so much more than we are capable of giving.

If you can feel the love, then you are blessed!! Somebody needs to acknowledge its existence...in the here and now!

Unfortunately, many people would not know love if it walked up behind them and bit them on the a___; which is a close as some people come to experiencing love, but if you are locked in a emotional linen closet for twenty years, it is probably not realistic to assume you are going to be adept at flourishing.

If you ask somebody, "How are you?", you rarely here, "flourishing". Sometimes you here embellishing or associating, or determined but mostly circling.

We measure our lives out in teaspoons wondering who owns the big cups. Makes me a bit sad, philosophic and of course, silly.

One reason is bitterness. Over how we have been treated. Over the gross and inconsiderateness that each of us experienced growing up. Over the outrageous insult to our minds and bodies, our souls and spirits.

The other reason is fear. Fear that if we let go of the past, our lives will start changing too fast. And, I think, fear of not being a big fish in a small pond, but a small fish in a big pond. And fear of no longer standing with the masses who are still enslaved by fear, but standing alone. Once you let the cat out of the bag and see that you aren't really who you've been thinking you are, you can never get it back in again, never quite fool yourself that way again. It's a risk of a familiar prison for an unknown freedom.

Because some of us do not know what love is, much less where love exists or when love is present.

For many, the unattainable dimensions past represent 'great love' because it isn't present; thereby alleviating the awareness of present love.

Where there is no awareness there is there is no responsibility.

Love has no responsibility.

Except to be.

Excellent question.

Because we are doomed from the word GO, Baby...that's why!!!

And we LOVE it, the way we are!!!

We believe in SOUL theory alongwith the concept of SOUL-MATE!!!

Once merged nothing can separate us, even if we tried!!!

We are INSANE...that's why!!!

And Please, don't pity us poor souls, we are HAPPY within, that's where our paradise lies...

P.S. Just watched the video...can't find words...simply beautifully heart-rending!!!
