In a way. Only if it is just little flirting. When someone flirts with me it makes me feel more desirable and my boyfriend gets all the attention which he likes. Not only that, but when someone flirts with him, I get slightly more possessive, and he gets more attention that way too... ;)

I assume you mean flirting with someone other than your boyfriend/girlfriend. However, do you mean when they are around or not around?

If they are around and can see the flirting it isn't cool. Every one in awhile it might fly but for the most part it is disrespectful.

Flirting while your partner isn't around is ok as long as it is fun and playful. If you are not leading another person on then it should be fine.

Lastly, it is important to understand whether you are in a committed relationship or not. Being committed doesn't mean you can't look at the opposite sex but it doesn't mean you can give someone else a lap dance either.

Use common sense and read a great book called "The Dangerous Passion". Every person in America should read that book. Some of it might not apply to your situation but it will help you understand the opposite sex, no matter what side you are on.

Good Luck!

Actually I just read two days ago an article on Yahoo that was about that subject. I don't know who did the research, but it suggested light flirting was indeed better for a new relationship because it seemed to draw the two closer together. I'm sure it wouldn't apply to older couples as much as younger ones.

In my opinion, I think that you can flirt to feel free or let out your inner-self! In think you should feel free to do the same. To answer your question, you should think about it, if you have a mate then do you think that was the rite think to do to flirt with another person or have inner-contact? It is your life and really your choose to do so. In my personal-opinion, I wouldn't because of the constant complaint of me liking someone else, but with further ado, you should if you want because your contact in relationship mite be much different then mine.

Hope this helped!

No way - flirting leads to cheating. You can flirt for your ego when you are single, but after that you are essentially either a tease or a cheat if you are flirting with someone new when you are already in a relationship.

That depends on what you have to do to "fit in." If the particular social group is respectful of you and the things that make you a unique individual, than the give-and-take of social interaction that we call "fitting in" is almost certainly positive and healthy.

If, on the other hand, you are pressured to simply conform, to base your actions on what the group thinks is "cool" or otherwise demands that you change who you are and how you express yourself--the only proper thing to do is leave. Its not ealthy and you accomplish nothing but encouraging what amounts to bullying, however subtle it may be.

Yes, light flirting is healthy, but not with someone that you see on a daily basis. That gets to be too dangerous.

Depends on the intent; 99% of the time it is just rude, and an indication of a very insecure person constantly looking for approval. Sort of a great red flag, should someone you are with be doing it in front of you!

No it's unhealthy and harmful. It causes confusion and insecurity's. Also it can create jealousy.
Seems like if your having a loving relationship, you would only want to flirt with the one your with.
