Ppl in my life will be referred to as character names.

Other than the fact that everyone is human, my life is almost identical to the Twilight/New Moon/Eclipse series. I found my Edward a year ago (he is truly Ed, in almost every way). Just this year, I realised who my Jake is (I hadn't seen him in years). I'm currently a Jr in HS, same as Ed, Jake's a fr. Sounding familiar?
Ed left me for a while, due to some family issues, and I started talking to Jake more often. Ed came back, promising to never leave again, but he did - and that's the one difference. It's happened several times now.
Jake doesn't act like he likes me, but our relationship follows the book to a T. Ppl we're together, but we're just similar.
I've discovered many striking details that match my life perfectly, including quotes from characters.
So fans, here's the dillemma-I left Ed to be friends with Jake, cuz Ed is too jealous, and hurts me too much - Good decision or bad? What would you do? Why?

I know it's obsessive, but it's seriously true.

My Edward has pushed me to points where I've wanted to die. Once to the point where only Jake was able to save me.

My point is that if the perfect diamond that Edward was started to shatter, is it close enough of a competition to go to Jake?

Also, I was friends with my Jake 5 years ago. My Ed hasn't shown signs of hostility to any of my guy friends til now. But now he would freak out when he found out I had seen my Jake in an after school club.

Jake is NOT A horrible person.
Jake is an amazing friend. Read pages 126-218 of New Moon again if you want to know what my Jake is like.

One big difference that I see is that your Edward seems to be more selfish than Edward. Edward lets Bella pick with as little pressure as possible he doesn't just leave her because of jealousy. He only left her because he thought he needed to save her from other vampires (like Jasper). Another big difference though is you said your Jake doesn't act like he likes you, you may want to think about this before you do anything rash. I had a very jealous boyfriend once too who made life miserable for me and any guy that even talked like that. I dated him for about 3 years before I finally broke things off-and thank heavens I did, When I hear how he turned out I am relieved. He was just exhibiting signs of far worse things. I want to feel desired, and loved but not controlled. Not saying yours would be like mine but to me it sounds like your Edward needs the true meaning of love. I think you probably made the right decision from what you've said but only you can really know that.

I think it was a good decision. If someone who loves you can't accept the fact that you have other guy friends, something is wrong. I mean..It's okay to be jealous every now and then, but after he starts hurting you in some way...

If Edward went far enough as to hurt Bella [besides that little New Moon incident--he was just trying to do what was best for her], I'd hope she would drop him---or at least talk to him about it.

That is such an amazing story! I wish I could find my Ed!
I think you should be with Ed. He is once of a kind, hard to find, and I am pretty sure is absolutely fine, is he not?
It's not like he wanted to leave you or anything. He didn't get to decided that. But now he's back and wants to be with you, and what does he find? You with Jake!
He's crushed!
Who wants to see a heartbroken Ed? That would just be terrible!
Every guy deserves a second chance. Make exceptions for your Ed, because by what you're telling me, I think he loves you very much.

I'd say good. Jacob is better for you. Reread the chapter of Eclipse when they are talking about what could have been if Edward wasn't involved. (I cried during that part) It basically says that if vampires weren't involved Jacob and Bella would be perfect for eachother. Soul Mates. So just stick with him and I think things will work out.

By the way, if you meet a little girl named Jane....stay away. :)

You left Ed for Jake? NOOOOOOO Ed loves you so much I mean if he is jealous is because he loves you and don't want to lose you. He might have left but it doesn't mean that he doesn't love you.
OMG you are so lucky. I wish my life was that excited but is not at all.

I'd stick with Jake-- he's been with you through thick and thin--Edward has left you twice, even after saying he'd never leave you again.
