I ask this because I was interviewing a girl for a sales position in my store yesterday. She kept talking about her friends and then I find out, she does not have any friends that she "sees" only online friends. Her conversations were stilted as well and she used text abbreviations in her application and her conversation. Now this may be an extreme case, but do you find that you are not as socialable as you may have been several years ago? Does the net consume your life?

I don't know, what have you heard? Are people talking about me? Seriously though, did she laugh at anything you said or did she say, "L O L" (speaking the letters)? If so, she might not be quite outgoing enough!

I used to artwork with a medical psychologist 10 years in the past. maximum appropriate me if i'm incorrect yet i think of Asperger's syndrome falls under the Autism spectrum. if so, I certainly have considered this medical psychologist do social integration exercising with a teenager age boy, who's a severe-functioning autistic. He gave one on one coaching on a thank you to handle particular social circumstances. Then he delivered him out and uncovered him to distinctive social circumstances with some coaching, confirmed him a thank you to work together, react in socially suitable techniques. i assume, as a verify you could attempt an identical physique of concepts. A workshop the place he desires to sit down down and pay attention won't be as smart as toddlers with Asperger's, i believe study superb by social modelling till they could at last carry on with and generalize the modelled habit generally settings.

No, computer instant messaging made me more sociable. I'm typically a shy person, but I found out that it's incredibly easy to just type to people instead. Recently, away from the computer, I've been able to talk more freely to others.

No, they are enhanced, using e-mail, IM, myspace, that sort of thing. You don't have to see people in person to be social.

I'm only on the computer when I'm at work. I work alone so I have no one to talk to anyway.
