I have really thick pubic hair, and I shave it. It's really not much of a problem, but around my front area it has hair stubs and it hurts to shave, and bleeds after. I'd really like to find some type of way to make it very thin, so it would be easier and more comfortable to shave and also so I wouldn't have little black stubs that are impossible to get rid of.

Well first of all when you shave it you should be more careful then shaving your legs or in a guys point of view, your face so you dont cut your self. I am 26 and ever since I was 16 i have got a wax. It does hurt a bit more but belive me it works. After the first maybe 3 times you are used to it so the it pains you less. Just make sure the razor, if you shave it, is very clean and not a bit rusty at the end and if you wax and go somewhere make sure they our very very clean. Good luck!

Pubic hair is a by product of maturity and as another by product of puberty you develop high sensitivity areas in your body called erogenous zones. These body parts are crammed with nerve endings making stroking of such places extremely pleasurable, therefore prompting your brain that you want to have sex. Of these erogenous zones, the pubic area is the most sensitive and as such coarse pubic hair protects such areas from involuntary stimulation from your clothes and rubbing against other people. the hair follicles are thicker and thus more dense than your regular hair.So your coarse hair is pretty normal, no need to worry yourself.

You don't have to shave it, just trim it down to 1/2 inch. Any shorter and it can itch or become ingrown.
