I am in my mid twenties. I am uncircumcised. After having an ejactulation when dreaming at night, I often notice raw-looking spots or irriation under my foreskin the following day.

I have sensitive skin in general. I continue to have some acne problems on my back, I am unable to wear almost any watch or it will break out my wrist, I often have mouth sores (canker soores?) at times, I am fair skinned. I have allergies too.

I've been to the doctor before about the foreskin issue. I think he said something about some kind of yeast infection?? I remember him suggesting hydracortisone cream (it's been a couple of years ago). If I put some of that on in the morning it is usally okay, but i still wonder what causes it all in the first place.. Could it be some kind of vitamin deficiency? And could any of the above problems be related?

I am a virgin too, so there is no risk that I got this that way.I may get circumcised later on, but not right now. By the way, is that expensive?

Mostly when I notice these sores is following an ejaculation from the night before. The semen gets on my skin (I wipe it up with tissue if awake) and then the skin rolls back up and I guess keeps the skin and any semen I didn't wipe away moist & warm. I doubt it has much to do with soap because on the nights I do not have an ejaculation in my sleep, then it's usually fine. I rarely masturbate, however I do sleep with no clothes on and often move my hands, touching my penis while asleep. Perhaps this could irritate it some. I somehow think though that if it were dry and clean it wouldn't have the sores as bad.

It sounds like a personal individual problem, not one that can be attributed to the foreskin. You yourself admit and list that you have a ton of skin problems. That's what it sounds like is causing the raw sores.

I'm not cut, I've ejaculated and not washed right away, I've never had raw-looking sores on my penis. Your issue is unique. And I don't see how circumcision would fix it. Instead of the sores being on your foreskin, they'd be on the head of your penis and the shaft. Ouch.

It sounds like a fungus. Are you washing with anti-bacterial soap? That will actuallly increase the growth of fungus and should never be used anywhere on your body except your hands.

Hydrocortisone cream will not do much for a fungal infection. You could ask a pharmacist for an over-the-counter product that can be used there (most are for regular skin only, not for foreskin). But you may need to see a doctor to get a prescription. Once you get it cleared up. be sure to keep the area clean and DRY.

Circumcision would not help. The fungus would just move into your glans instead.

Circumcision is generally a very bad idea. Our bodies are formed the way they are to work properly. Cutting healthy parts off always makes them work less well.

I know this could be caused from excessive washing or masturbation, rough foreplay or sex to chaff and inflame the area. Sometimes too much washing scrubbing or left over soap residue from washing can irritate and cause your symptoms. There are skin friendly soaps and there are foreskin friendly soaps. Be sure it's not your soap that is causing the irritation. Over the counter creams like anti fungal creams with a combination of airing out the area by pulling back your foreskin and allow it to dry before applying ointments. Like any wounds, the affected area needs to air out so maybe the best time for this would be after a light cleansing in the shower and laying in bed. Strip it back and let it air out real good before applying ointment. If it is severe then a prescription from a doctor would be sufficient along with airing it out. Any internal raw areas will not heal being cooped up inside a warm and most foreskin.

Try coconut oil for healing. Circumcised males do have less maintenance of their penis s.
