Not really,
*Relationship-wise, yeah, it's all good (once the legal requirements have been addressed, certainly ...).
*Physically, I really have to disagree with the "wishful thinkers", above.
**Genetics, diet, and exercise all play a vital role in the aging process, but age really does win out in the end.
***I'm in MUCH better shape than most (at least 90%) of my students (I teach public high school). I'm in MUCH better shape than everyone in my dojo (Fudokan Karate).
***However, I've needed reading glasses for the past two years, my hearing is slowly fading (gosh-darned Cold War ...). My morning jog times are slowing up, and I can't do 70 lb. dumbbell curls anymore. I take a full week to recover from my point-sparring tournaments (it used to be a couple of days ...), and I grunt whenever I perform any katas (forms) which require jumping or getting up off of the floor.
*I'm told that I still look like I'm in my early /mid 30's, but the physical and athletic limitations which I'm experiencing all serve to remind me of why there's a "50 -59" and a "60 - over" age bracket in my favorite tournament sparring series.

before everything, give up responding to human beings. that's no longer a message board, and additionally you gets a violation for doing that. Secondly, I agree that anybody merits a undeniable quantity of know using fact they are human, and not greater or much less depending on age. i does no longer be impolite to a 9 twelve months previous or a ninety twelve months previous. something of know is earned, and positively the case must be made for asking older human beings to earn know, somewhat than for asking an identical of youngsters and youthful human beings. know is likewise generally reciprocal. If somebody does not know me, for no good reason, then i would be well mannered, yet no longer something greater... i do no longer care how previous they are.

me and my bf are 3 years apart, and my parents are okay with that (im 15, hes 18) but i think a 19 year old would prolly be to old for me. those people who marry like 10 years difference, ehhhhhh well i think thats a bit much, but then again they are older. any more than ten years though is too much

sure do!!! as long as you are at least 18, then everything should be fine! but I also think that you have to be on the same maturity level as that person, then it wouldn't work out. I would date guys older than me because the guys my age are stupid and I just want a older man <3

Not really. There's a reason we don't let 13 year olds be cops or soldiers, and having sex with a preteen will get you sent to jail.
That said, I'm 24 and most of my friends and the last couple girlfriends I've had are/were 28-32. Just depends really.

Technically age is just a number.
My best friend is 12 years older than I am and the only times I'm really aware of the difference is when he'll tell me a story from when he was in college and I'm sitting there thinking, " I was in middle school when that happened."

Age is just a number. A lot of people say this, but do they mean it? I'm sure most people wouldn't approve of my boyfriend and my age difference, but I am over 18 and can date whoever I want.

I do! I am 38 and feel 25. I eat right, exercise, and stay productive! My three boys (6, 8, and 11) definitely keep me young. I don't want to roll up to school in a minivan, 250 pounds, wrinkly with wirey hair! ICK! Taking care of yourself and looking inside and outside are great things to do to stay young.

i agree that age is just a number
its not a parameter of our maturity, our behavior talks a lot about that. somebody may accuse that age is not just a number, but also a sign of adolescent, but i don't think so. experience doesn't come by age, but by God. So its not fair to judge somebody by their age.
i don't think that age is a problem for getting along with somebody, i myself get along with my mom, while her age is twice mine

YEA.. it has nothing to do with how smart you are how mature you are or how wise you are, its just a number that represents how long you have been on this earth. i believe that people associate too much with age, this number has to much power and it creates generalizations about people
