David is recognized all over the world. Most people know how it's pronounced, so I think I would keep it. I suppose if I moved to a country where the alphabet's completely different I'd have to change it. I take Chinese in school; in Chinese David is usually pronounced Dawei. I used to take Japanese and they usually pronounced it Deibido. Even though they may not be the coolest sounding names in those languages, I'd still keep it as similar to David as possible because I like my name.

I did that when I went to a new school. I love my name, but I told everybody to call me Sasha just for the fun of it. It's like a new start, kinda. Only my close friends called me by my real name.

I like my name, it's Monique. It's a fine name and it's French. I love the French and since I'm Cajun, I think it's perfectly fitting for me. 2D
