I think that abortion is murder but my best friend doesnt ? what is your opinion ?

I also think that it is murder. I think that if you can't be responsible enough to use protection correctly, than you shouldn't be having sex. I know people always say well, the condom broke, well I say then don't have sex and it wouldn't have happened. Imagine explaining to your kids that they would have had an older sibling, only the condom broke so mommy had an abortion instead of keeping her legs closed.
Abortion is legal, but slavery was once legal too. Hmmm...

I feel a moral obligation to state the obvious........it is murder, plain and simple! Life is created at the moment of conception. Just because we as a people are so selfish that we want to "have our cake and eat it too..", we have legalized murder. I teach my child that any time you have sex.....yes ANY TIME..... you are doing so with the knowledge that it could end up in a pregnancy, whether or not you use protection. I am talking from experience, I was a young mom who believed the guy when he said he couldn't have kids (yeah, I was that naive). It doesn't matter what the situation is....a person was created and there are so many people out there who would love to have a child and can't for one reason or another.

How can we call ourselves a civilized society when we say it is okay, and even legal, to kill our children???

don't listen to butterfly because this is what Yahoo Answers is about! to get answers to the unsolved questions! I don't like abortion.. I think it's murder to a life that didn't even have a chance to live.. I would put it up for adoption.. plus, if someone gets an abortion, the majority of them would regret it, that memory of them killing a beautiful, wonderful life that didn't have the chance to start all their lives.. I don't like it at all, but everyone has different opinions and I accept that because we are only human, we make many mistakes, but that is what lifes all about, to learn, love, and laugh!

You are absolutely right about abortion- it is taking the life of a baby- at 3 weeks after conception the baby's heart is beating. I am pro-life all the way- I am so thankful that my birth mother was pro-life or I would not be here today- and even would my 2 adopted children.

Not even any given religion can decide on that, nor can any government body etc. I'm going to be a pastor so I say yes, but you'll meet pastors who'll say no. If you don't want a friend to get an abortion talk to them about adoption.

everyone has the right to think what they want to, but for me, a life is growing inside of a woman called a baby, which is a real life, having an abortion is murder in the sight of God.

Regardless of any answers, abortion is LEGAL. Under the law, it's not murder. Everyone will have different answers.

Your stirring the pot on this one...most people on here are loving mothers...existing, or to-be or trying to conceive. In these situations most are against abortion. I really don't think this is the right place to ask that question. Do some research on the internet...

i agree w/ alot of anwsers on here its the mothers choice its her opinion but in my opinion i would never do that b/c i think it is murder and i grew up by the saying if u dont want the kids dont mess around to have them.

my opinion is this site is not to cause huge debates about abortions...most of the people in here are mommies to be or are ttc so we have made choice to have babies, or keep our babies....abortion are an option not one that i would choose...but i feel that it is a very personal choice...and no one has any right to judge everyone...
