Is the the DLink wireless adapter for the car and for the stereo at home? The Media Streamer came with the DLink in the box.

Not really high on my list of products,, just not that big of a deal to me. However, Crutchfield, who I do trust has a great review

And the adapter is for Well Wireless, either place. In the car it won't work very far since you loose the network within a 100 feet or so of the house. (Guess you could use it for a laptop etc inside the car, you still won't have the internet so a lot of the usefulness is missing once your out of the driveway!)
You can directly send files from your home PC to the drive in your car while it's parked in the driveway or garage with the Wifi connector.
