Try to describe the difference- though I know it's mainly cultural. This is not meant to be racist in any way, I'm simply trying to gain a few opinions. Different cultures have their quirks- both positive and negative. I'm just asking about a TYPICAL greek male here.
I can describe my experience with greek men like this: they are much more forward than americans. They aren't afraid to tell you what they think, and I mostly consider this to be a good thing. (The bad part comes in when they try to hit on you and just don't get it when you tell them to stop!)
In general, they are also more passionate- another great, great trait. I'd rather be in a heated argument with someone than with a piece of "dry toast" (as described in my big fat greek wedding). In relationships, do greeks tend to channel this passion moreso to romance, or sexual aggression?
Aside from these specific observations, how else might you describe your typical greek man in relation to one of another culture?

yes ur right. they're really straight forward they're very cute, they're magkes, they're pretty arrogant i'd say and yes they dont give up if u tell them to back off. i still love them though. they're very funny and great to be around they'd stick up for u if you need them and are great.

some bad things are that they can be demanding and obsessive.

i still love them despite all their bad traits.

Just to clarify, Constantine's conversion to Christianity didn't influence Islam. Also it has to be said during The West's Dark Age The East including Muslims were in their Enlightenment Period. When the West entered the Enlightenment Period the East fell into the Dark Ages. And maybe the path the world took was the right path to getting were we are today. After all even with technological advancement first needs to be social advancement. We'd still be owning slaves, and thinking it's OK to leave young girls to die in the cold. The rise of Christianity (the first Christianity before it became a money making corporation) at least got people to start thinking about social issues, which never would have happened under the logistical Romans. Though then again maybe if Christianity had never entered Rome it wouldn't have become a corporation and remained pure, however considering the history of the Quakers and where they ended up, probably not.

Far too many Greek men are depressed. It's sad. But there you are. However, I think they are a little more "sympatico" than men from other European cultures.

Isn't there an inherent danger to stereotype in your question? Generally, the Mediterranean people, males and females are more spontaneous and more outwardly expressive than their northern counterparts. That is evident in their amorous expressions as well. It must have something to do with the weather.
