It varies, some people have cramps, some people feel like throwing up, some people get upset stomachs, some people have "pms insomnia" (like me) some people get moody, some people crave a certain food (like when your pregnant, some people want weird foods, some people want to eat nothing but cheese, some people want chocolate and salt, etc.) Some people eat. A lot. Sometimes they get really lazy, or have random bursts of energy. Its all a matter of looking for your own warning signs. I get the insomnia thing, I have weird dreams, and want chocolate and salt. One of my friends gets cramps, has random energy, and can't stay away from cheese. Like I said, it varies.

for me i notice a slight cramping in my pelvic region. and i notice that i have a white discharge the week before my period. but since i am on bc i don't really feel any symptoms anymore. but everyone is different. classic pms symptoms are tender breasts, cramping, irritability, fatigue, backache. Things like that.

sometimes a cramp or two, but then again you wont even notice unless you go to the bathroom or something happens in ur pants; may even feel something

I notice that my "area" starts hurting RIGHT BEFORE and start getting cramps... That gives me a couple of seconds to run and get a pad..

Acne, nausea, grumpiness, cramps. Or do you mean before you get your very first period? I got some hellacious cramps before that happened.

not physically sick for me, but I can tell mentally. I usually get really sarcastic and have a nasty tone when I talk. I don't mean to, but it just happens.

i always get really giddy or hyper and uncontrollably so. its weird. I also notice the wet spot as well

I am completely moody the week before!
It sucks, and the day before it I get cramps.
