I am at a very confusing point in my life. I'm not a kid, but not an adult. I'm in college now; I'm in my second year towards a bachelors degree. Basically, I'm just wondering what sequence of events happened for you after college, and where are you at now? I'm sure answering this will not only help me, but the many many other people on here like me.

I assume you're wondering what I am doing after I completed my bachelors degree. I am continuing on with my masters degree while working. But there are many options. If you don't get the degree you want the first time, get a second degree, pursue your masters degree, get an internship, get a job, travel for a while before hitting the "workforce," or even join the military. Normally during your junior and senior year you are completing internships in your field of study and trying to decide what type of career/job you would like. After this, particularly during your senior year, you start interviewing with companies that you would like to work for. But it's really wide open, you can do whatever you like - power of choice!

After graduation, confusion can set in for anyone. If you are worried about employment then start thinking about what you want to do with your degree after you finish. You may want to see if you get an internship or work in your field, in order to gain the necessary 2 to 3 years experience that most places want. Or you may want to get a masters degree or even start a doctorate program, some schools allow you to start a doctorate with just a bachelors. Lastly you may want to take some time off in order to regroup and have a bit of fun after you graduate.

After I graduated I started the new job I had lined up, I didnt like where I was working so I switched jobs a year later. I also enrolled in graduate school and just completed 2 masters, now I am career hunting again.

Just as college students are at different levels of maturity, the same is true after you graduate. Most people either find a job or go to graduate school, but neither ensures that you will become a fully-mature adult. I've had students who got married and had children right after college, bought a house and settled down into a life very much like the ones my parents had in their fifties. I've also had students who, ten years later, were still living with their parents, partying a lot, and generally refusing to grow up. Life after graduation is what you make of it.

Go to grad school, get a job, be bored, start looking forward to retirement when you're far too young to be thinking about such things.
