have a gritty super hero i want to publish online for profit..is this being done and how ??...josh

I think you'd have to have a web site, with pay pal or some similar setup so people could pay to download chapters, then advertise it. That will be the hard part. You can also take advertising on your own site to help defray the costs.

But you must have a quality product or people will not keep coming back to buy it. If you know of anybody who was around in the 80's, ask them about the explosion of minor comic book publishers and the many, many absurd characters who appeared once and are no more.
