Are you normally regular or have you had a history of being irregular? Do you have any other symptoms such as excess facial hair or loss of head hair? These in conjunction with what you are describing could signal a problem like PCOS. However, it may not. Either way, the best thing would be to see a gynecologist and have them do some tests or visit with a doctor about your symptoms. It could signal other things as well, such as thyroid.

If you're going to have a heavy flow, you could be retaining water and bloating. I would go buy a pregnancy test kit. You probably aren't, but they're not that expensive, and then you can stop worrying. Sometimes stress and/or physical training can lead to a missed period to.

20 lbs in a month is crazy. Are you SURE? If this is true then no wonder you didn't get a visit from Aunt Flo... your body chemistry would be messed up. See a doc ASAP.

most women who are pregnant don't gain a tremendous amount of weight till the end of pregnacy. my sister (25) gained 3 pounds till about her 4th month of pregnacy. so if that is what your suggesting, it may not be the reason.
good luck!
