Are you normally regular or have you had a history of being irregular? Do you have any other symptoms such as excess facial hair or loss of head hair? These in conjunction with what you are describing could signal a problem like PCOS. However, it may not. most women who are pregnant don't gain a tremendous amount of weight till the end of pregnacy. my sister (25) gained 3 pounds till about her 4th month of pregnacy. so if that is what your suggesting, it may not be the reason.

good luck!
