i want to know what programs i need to keep on my computer so that it would keep working, but i want to delete the programs that i don't neccesarily need and that are taking up space. can someone please help meee =)

go into add remove programs on the control panel. Remove any programs you recognize and that you do not need. This will help some. I also recommend downloading a free program called autoruns. This shows all running processes by company.

Look at the list of programs you can see by going to the start menu, then control panel and finally clicking on Add/Remove Programs. Your computer will still work if you remove everything on that list. You just won't be able to do anything with it.
Just pick things you will never use and uninstall them.

Go to the Add or Remove programs. Find out what programs you use rarely and uninstall them. Keep the programs you use frequently (Antivirus, productivity tools, browser, PDF reader, media players ...)
