I think he should be watched carefully but in the same sense should be alowed to live a normal life. The system in australia is pretty good and should alow this to happen. Part of his parol is he has to report to a police station once a week. I think the authorities should keep a good eye on him, but the media and everyone else should just leave him alone. If he moved next door to me i would proberbly just treat him like any other neighbour.

He will be. One of the condition of his release is his having to report in person to the authorities on a weekly basis. And I'm sure those authorities will do a bit of shadowing to ensure that some yobs don't decide to beat him to death the way they did that Maori from New Zealand the other day.
