where is the most uncomfortable place you had to sleep at when you were a kid and as an adult?

My aunt and uncle had a lake cottage, and my uncle had built makeshift bunkbeds out of wood for us to sleep on. No mattress.Even as a kid, I remember being uncomfortable.
As an adult, the worst place was sleeping in my car for a long period of time. My first husband and I moved to Florida with no money or jobs, so we lived in the car for almost two months and showered on the beach.

as a kid on a neighbors couch while my parents played cards. as a adult ranger training where we were promised 6 hours of sleep but they never said in a row so we slept where ever we could sit or stand still for 5min's or more....you will be amazed at how comfortable a gravel road can be when you are tired....after that my ex-inlaws bed kinda had a dip in middle......

as an adult: On an island, in November off the east coast, brrrr, on the sand.....to cold to fish anymore.....to cold to do anything. so I curled up on the sand and tried to sleep
