Does any team (NHL or Euro) own Cujo's rights? I would think a team like TB or LA might be interested if they could sign him on as a FA. Thoughts?

I was thinking he could possibly be free to sign after the Spengler tournament (which I am not familiar with). If this is true Haley, I wouldnt be surprised if TB would take a shot at him.

Also, has anyone noticed Conklin and Sabourin have been doing a good job for the Pens since Fleury's injury? After all the put downs they've recieved by the Pens fans on this board, its due justice.

He's an unrestricted agent currently, but wants too much money.

I don't see anybody picking him up though
a) He has no desire to be a back-up, that is why he spurned the Coyotes and Pittsburgh over the summer
b) He was looking for at least $2MM a year
c) He wants to play for a contender

Cujo is a Free Agent who had offers for this year but not to his liking. He got the Spengler offer and took it to up his ante.
He's done a great job but is he worth number 1 money at his age for back up role.
If JFJ can sign him and waive Raycroft out he might be back now that Quinn's gone.

He's currently an unrestricted free agent; but I doubt building year teams like TB or LA would be interested in a 40 year old goalie. St. Louis should pick him up; Legace will never be able to take that talented team anywhere in the playoffs, if he can even get them that far.

I think he just wanted to prove himself after Spengler Cup (which he is playing right now and kicking as$) to attract some offers. He stood on his head today against the NHL-calibre Russian team, UFA.

LITY, I was half-listening to an interview with him today after the Spengler game, and he said that he never had the chance to mentor anyone. To me, that sounds like he wants to back someone up.

Nope, he's still out there. I agree, he would be a great FA pickup for a team in need of a good goalie or an experienced backup. Tampa and LA would be great candidates- and I wonder if tampa is moving that way by waiving Denis.

I personally think that Belfour or Esche are better options for teams at this point.

He's available. Apparently he played stellar today. (I was shoveling my rink) He obviously wants to get a call. I'm sure the city of Toronto would welcome him back after that massacre game tonight.

The Lightning & LA are too poor and stupid to make any trades.
