Put them in boiling water for a few seconds then pull them out. Immediately put them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Once they cool off give them to your fish. Using any type of cooking oil will kill your fish.

The guy that said it would clog your filter is wrong. Live plant food is important as a conditioning food. Although zucchini is easier to handle, compared to cucumber. I use an all plastic clip attached to the glass by a suction cup to make handling easy.

I usually boil a cup of water in the microwave, then toss in my zucchini slices for about 15-20 seconds then throw them in ice water, they love it.

If they're aquarium fish , I think i would stick to fish food. The cucumber will probably just clog your filter & like that person said the cooking oil prob. isn't good for them. It will cloud your tank also i beleive.
