Wow. Thats horrible. Both the guy and his mother are extremely brave for standing up to the homeland security fascists. I hope they find some sort of closure to this.

Maybe it is me but, I tend to do as I am told when aboard an aircraft. If told to sit down I sit. If asked to leave the aircraft I would leave. I would protest like hell once I was back in the building, but disrupting a flight is a very serious matter. Yes I agree assault is also a serious matter but I would like to hear the other side of the story before making a judgement. Do they really Tazer people for their appearance? I don't know.
Never having had their land attacked before, I can see why there would be a certain amount of paranoia.
