I am very new to this site and for the life of me can't figure out how to respond to everyone other than rate a top answer. My husband is going to help me to figure it al out later. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has answered my questions and provided helpful information. We tried a Dr. Brown's bottle and he took a full feed for the first time in 6 weeks and latched back on, etc. He kept it down and was happy. I know we have a long road ahead of us, but I thank you all for support and the information. I am going to check with Dr., this week about formula. FIngers crossed he grows out of this quickly. Thanks again.

my baby had reflux since 2 weeks old. it was so hard to watch him go through it. sometimes it really upset him. it will start to go away gradually. you will notice less spit up as your baby starts to sit, stand, and walk... anything that keeps him upright.

my baby is now 9 months and only spits up occasionally. maybe once or twice a day as opposed to like 20. it was a long frustrating road for me to watch him go through it, not to mention changing sheets everyday and loads of laundry lol... but it will get better. good luck & congrats!!!!

I don't know how old your child is and all but my daughter was diagnosed with acid reflux not only did the doctor tell us to use the dr. browns bottles that worked but they also prescribed her Axid which worked wonders too. Unforunately it wasn't just about the bottles for her but she needed the medication and she is on Nutramigen which helped her belly as well. Anyway..thats awesome and congratulations!

I work with premies, and most have reflux. Most grow out of it by 12 months, but a few will have it pass that. Good luck. I know it can be frustrating to deal with.
