It's true. We are the center of the rainbow so to speak. I've yet to meet a psychic or mystic sort that did not have the eye color, except for some younger adult indigo sorts.

Eye color indicates how you use your two mind lobes. The flow between the two is balanced in the hazel colored sort.

I too have hazel eyes that I am told change colors with the mood I'm in... my kids dubbed me mood-eyes (like a mood ring) they knew to leave momma alone on the days her eyes were really really bright green, when they are bright blue they say that I'm in a silly or good mood, grey I'm serious, etc. usually when I am looking myself in the mirror to me they appear gray-green but more folks than my kids have told me they can judge my mood by the color that my eyes are. I also am more tuned in to my sixth sense and how others feel.

I have hazel (more to the green than the brown) and I have never heard this. Our eyes are considered "light" which does make them sensitive to bright light sometimes. As for them changing colors, it is just a reflection of what colors we are wearing ... bright red makes my eyes look blue. Blue makes them look pure green. Black makes them look violet. Nothing that I know of has ever made them look brown or black. On the other hand, I do consider myself to be a bit clairvoyant, so maybe the eye color has something to do with it. Either way, you're not going to get a right or wrong answer about the 6th Sense thing because there is no real way to prove it. It would be neat if it were true, though.

Excellent link from Mac, by the way.

Thay say that girlz with hazel eyes tend to live longer than blue/brown/green eyed people.
However the folklore behind them is diff. They say that people with hazel eyes are better with their senses toward earth. They say that alot of people with hazel eyes cn sense when rain is coming even on a clear day. but of course its just a story.... or is it

i don't have any info, but your question was interesting. It never occurred to me that eye color had folklore attached. I also read the interesting link from mac. now i want to know if my eyes are hazel, blue or gray. and what about if your eyes change color as you age? and why are babies born with blue eyes? Wait, maybe I will ask those questions...

I'm so glad you asked this question! I've often wondered the same thing. I have grey eyes that apprently change from blue, to green, and back to grey depending on my moods. Nice to know someone else shares this. I get so tired of people asking me do I have contacts.

There is no meaning. It's genetics...or contacts haha. Sure there are myths of sorts, but all it is, is an eye color. Also, eyes may appear to be a slightly different color, but they do not "change" color (unless through disease, trauma, genetic mutation, increased sun exposure etc. not by mood). My eyes are blue-green. Sometimes they look blue, sometimes green depending on the clothes I wear or how sunny it is.
That's as if to say someone who only has brown eyes in their family blood will magically have hazel eyes and be in tune with a sixth sense. There are not particular personality traits that correspond with an eye color. Genetics, genetics, genetics.
