Well ! Let's put it in perspective. At my age every year is a plus. 2007 was better than 2006 which was better than 2005. In that context 2008 should be a banner year as well. I think it will be better and hope that the Democrats accomplish much more than they did in 2007 because all they did was collect their pay under false pretenses.. Their legislative agenda was a flop. All they wanted to do is disrupt President Bush. They voted for the war yet wouldn't fund the servicemen who were fighting and holding the peace for us. And my 2 Senators from CT were a disgrace. Those who represented us in the House aren't any better.

2008 can be a magnificent year. We have opportunites this year to transform our nation so the world will want to follow. We have greater understanding this year because we see that all our gadgets and riches and our music are not giving us the satisfaction we desire. We are more isolated now with each person listening to their own music or programs . In Africa, the Middle East and other nations, people sing and dance in the streets together. We have lost communication face to face. That is a big loss.

Our Democracy has proven to be no strength against a people determined to keep God as head of the government. We have seen infighting in our government that takes the power away. We have seen taxes going to things we don't support, to space programs to figure out the origin of life when it is written in many holy books. These are great insights, without them, we wouldn't repair our errors.

If we pray and vote for the word of God to rule our nation, then the parties would be the check and balance they were meant to be, to be sure we followed correctly. We would be going in the same direction. Jesus said, "A house divided against itself shall fall". We can fix it before it fully falls apart.

2008 will be great, if you contact you presidential candidate and tell them the direction you want for the nation to put God's wisdom back in our government.

Don't question it,cross your fingers,or waste a wish on a star with this question.
2008 can be what ever you want it to be.
Forget about your life when that clock strikes 12 cause every great person in the world lit a fire cracker and said Keep Moving On...it common sense,if you didn't you would be nothing...gray unnoticed.Speak out be yourself your one person who can make alot out of the world and even though it's hard sometimes...DONT THINK...it only hurts.

I'm concerned about the economy and gas prices. I'm not looking forward to even more political ads. For me, personally, I think it will be a good year.
