Its the richest state in the union its gdp is a trillion dollars or so many companies are based or have headquarters there. They have allot of natural resources as well. Or should it be 2 diffrent states

California pays more in taxes to support all the poorer states in Red America than it receives in federal subsidies.
If they wished to secede, I wouldn't hold it against them......
