I like Josie Lynn Tanner better, but the Lynn is a bit too much. It's boring. Try Josie Tanner without a middle name. I don't like Josephine.

I love Josephine Tanner. I think Lynn sounds kind of filler-y. If it has meaning to you, stick with it, of course. Otherwise, I might think of a different middle name.

I like Josie as a nickname for Josephine, but not as a given name.

Josephine is a huge name for a baby girl, but Josie is nice, I guess. Lynn is one of those middle names from a bucket--Lynn, Marie, Michelle, Jo, Ann, Kay...Everyone uses them because they are easily fit. Use your imagination and choose a beautiful middle name (or two middle names!)...something like Joy. Josephine Joy Tanner. Huge improvement. Best wishes!

I'm not sure if I like filler middle name Lynn in there. Just seems to make the full name very N-heavy -- JosephINE LYNN TANNer. Three strong N sounds (EEN-LYNN-TANN) back-to-back, if you see what I mean.

But Josephine Tanner itself, especially with adorably spunky nickname Josie, I completely like. ;)

Hope that helps.

Josie Lynn sounds better than Josephine Lynn ... it doesn't flow well together. Josephina Lynn would flow more naturally.
