Happiness comes from within, not out. Teach yourself to find pleasure in simple things as a child would, and as this becomes more 'normal' for you, you can honestly and humbly thank God for His gift of life. Feels great!

True happiness is____ you do not feel sad from doing anything. You need not be smiling or laughing away just to show your happiness. Sitting alone, doing chores or admiring the sceneries is indication of happiness in a tranquil form.
The idea of happiness is internal and less demonstrative than crying which is emotional and having a curtailment in resolve. Conversely happiness is remedy for sickness and sorrow that often besieged our lives. Happiness is everywhere when we tone down our expectations and forgiving to provocations.

Find out what makes you happy, what turns your crank? Don't listen to outside sources telling you what it should be or what it is supposed to be. Find out for yourself. And then pursue it. If you find you were wrong, adjust and resume pursuit. You may not ever reach that goal. But the knowledge that you're going after it in the best and fastest way possible is enough.

Getting high and a quick death.
All happiness is followed by sadness. The only way to tip the scale is to die while happy.

The billion dollar question! lol.
I really don't think there is one right answer. Different people find it in different ways. For some it's religion, for some its knowing you're the master of your own fate. I think people need to figure it out on their own, through their life and their experiences.

true happiness can only exist inside one's self because to have to find it or take something would make it untrue, true happiness exist only in the moment, live in the moment, that moment.
