It can.... It can also open up your eyes, you and the other persons together, as a team journey.....
Its so much easier though to fall into being blind the the world while in love... I have done it more than once.....

I would have to answer No . To me It makes me aware of much less fortunate people than I . and feel sorry for all the unhappy people in this world that never experienced these feelings .
It also makes me more aware of of all the joys in this world
that I would have not know otherwise .
