The first thing i would do is tell the person a little about me. You know getting the person to open up , then go from there.

open ended Qs, the less u say the easier it is to come off witty. ask aabout jobs school,. future plans ect.

just talk to them about stuff your interested in...
Ask them what they like to do...
Compliment them
Just create conversation. If there are long akward silences or just typing "so..." its going to make it akward and she'll think ya'll have nothing in common. Just talk. about ANYTHING.

what's your favorite color? what do you want to be when you get older? what are you most scared of? what makes your happy? ask things that show that you care :) hope it helps..i'll add more when i think of them
