Our son is 9 months old (almost 10) and we've been giving him nothing but sippie cups, and I was just wondering if that was ok? I mean is it bad to take him off the bottle early when he has no problem with the sippies? Please help

*First time parent*

If he is happy and drinking, there is no need to worry!
You are doing well, most moms have real trouble getting their babies off bottles and you don't have to worry about that.

I also started giving my baby a sippy at around 9 mnths, but she was breastfeed and never had a bottle.
She is now 1 year and loves her sippies!

It really depends on the child. If he/she is eating three round meals a day and is able to drink from a straw or sippy cup, then typically around 1 year old. My son, husband and I through away his bottles at 10 months and he waved bye bye to each one of his bottles! Make it fun! Good luck!

I was told to give my baby his bottle up until he was 12 months, but as long as your baby is getting enough liquids with the sippie cup, then I don't see a problem :)

eliminate all of them, now. bypass to the keep and get some sippy cups and use those completely. in case you prefer some that are comparable to a bottle precise get the NUBY ones with the silicone tops. they're made in us of a nevertheless and risk-free and then after some months swap to some thing with a extra durable precise. verify he gets a snack till now mattress of a few good food which will help him stay complete till morning- even a bowl of cereal is positive. whilst my son gave up his bottles we've been given the sippy cups and then enable him p.c.. out a "enormous boy" toy which grow to be his little tykes swing that he likes to play on outdoors. He in no way regarded back whilst they have been long previous and he even waived "bye bye" to them as we've been given rid of them. (even although he does not understand that I saved one hidden away in a memento field for his toddler memories...) If he remains on a pacifier, get him on sippy cups and then after a pair weeks eliminate the pacifiers too. those are undesirable for their tooth whilst they start up coming in.

No, now is the perfect time to be giving him the cup, waiting to long can cause his teeth to come in wrong and cause them to rot.
