one of my breasts looks like it's kind of dented. i know they aren't going to look "normal" for awhile, but i'm wondering if the dent is normal?

i think that it is normal to have a dent, because everything is still swollen etc. i just worry because you have to have an ace bandage around you at all times and i'm afraid that it's squishing my boobs into a weird shape lol.

Don't listen to that so called "doctor"...

After mine, my breasts looked dented above and below the nipple. My doc said it was normal and would go away after a few months. It kind of did. They both still have kind of dent above the nipples though, not as noticible as it was but I still see it.

I'm curious to see what others have to say, I've always wondered about this myself...

LOL, I wouldn't worry about the ace bandage causing a weird shape. Mine look pretty normal except for the slight dents above the nipples. My boyfriend swears he can't see them though.

Hi,
I am a doctor..
Se whetehr you can feel any lump in that breast.
Sometimes it could be associated with that..

Anyway , I feel you should go and show this to the doctor if you already havent. if you could show it to a surgeon, it would be great..

The problem being that denting of th breast can be associated with notorious conditions..
Thinking of the extremes, it can be associated with breast cancer..

I'm not wanting to make you frightened..
but that is a real fact...

but if you have already gone to the doctor and got it checked out and if there is no breast lump associated in that breast, then this may be a normal thing..

How long post op are you?

You need to be patient for several months to a year to get your final size and shape.

you might want to ask your doctor, but yes, for now a lot is going on with healing, and then it'll get better.
