A personal favorite is La Corda d'Oro. There's anime and manga, but the anime is not on video (as far as I know), only available through internet. But the storyline is good, there are funny scenes, and the character development is nice.
A manga I HIGHLY suggest is From Far Away. It's a great fantasy with great character development. It's highly addicting... I blew all my savings on collecting the manga.

An excellent romantic comedy (especially if you like music) is Nodame Cantabile. Check out the manga at onemanga.com for free, and there is also an anime version and a live action version avaiable too. Enjoy!

Hey there if youre looking for animes full of action that are funny and romantic here are some i would definetly recomend: Dragon Ball, Digimon, Sakura Card Carptors, Full Metal Panic and the others you have already seen.

It kind of depends on whether your a boy or a girl. Mermaid Melody is the only one that comes to mind and that was just a really weird series. Sailor Moon is by far my favorite anime series ever. GO SAILOR MARS!

I must say that one of the best Animes every created is Blood+ which is based off of the movie Blood: The Last Vampire. Death Note is a good show and its weird at first but ull find urself rooting for the bad guy!It gets cool. i also know that if you like watching english dubbed anime that a really good cite to go to is narutoengdub.co.nr its really good. they have tons of different anime updated usually the day after an episode airs. but if you r like me then u usually like the english subs better. i would go to www.stage6.com its got shows that are very good quality like tv quality and they have an Anime Channel which lists like all of the anime. I hope this helps. o and by the way the guy who said anime is gay then he or she can su*& m( B@&* and *#&@ O*%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
