I can see the Olympics thing, given California's chinese population. I can see the anti-war protests too, but Cindy Sheehan has got to go!!!
I think she is one of the saddest stories ever.
I thought her "campout" at the ranch was brilliant and made many believe she was simply a broken hearted mother who wanted answers. I would believe most people truly felt for her then, at least I did.
I am not sure what happened after that. Whether she got taken in by the hype or members of the far left or what, but she has definitely gone off the deep end. Her far left political ramblings have destroyed her marriage, made a farce out of what was a touching tribute to her son, and destroyed any credibility she once had!!
I went from feeling sorry for her loss to fearing her sanity.

I hear a lot of people say that the soldiers in Iraq are fighting for our freedoms. What freedom can be more important to have, and more important to exercise, that to peacefully protest? If someone gets violent or destructive then that's a different issue. But a non violent protest is not going a "little to far".

No. that's an unlawful act. and that they might desire to be arrested and taken care of like criminals in the event that they smash the regulation. i might prefer to be certain if the Occupy stream even have the facilitates to hold a public assembly/protest. the belief of public assembly is secure under the 1st modification, yet there are regulations and facilitates required so as that the customary public provider workplaces have the time to workforce for events.

You may not like it, but it's the American way...be grateful we as AMERICANS can even do this without fear of death, persecution, torture etc.
Besides, I'm quite sure that steps have already been put in place to keep protesters from infringing on the parade.
